Jill Pierce joined AMC Network in 1997 as senior meeting consultant, where she leverages her seventeen years of meeting planning experience and twenty-two year career in the hospitality industry to help clients plan and execute successful meetings. She was promoted to Vice President in 2003 and is a partner in the business.
Prior to joining AMC, Jill was the senior sales manager at Hyatt Regency San Francisco, where she was responsible for hotel sales in both the national association and corporate markets, training junior staff and honored with achieving Hyatt’s “Master’s Program”. She also worked at Marriott and Hilton Hotels both in sales and operations.
With her extensive hotel experience, and a broad group of industry contacts, Jill is uniquely qualified to negotiate "on the other side". She takes the lead position with some of AMC’s largest events, handling all aspects from initial site searches, contract negotiations, logistics lead and sponsor sales.
Over her career, Jill has been actively involved in the meeting planning industry. She served for five years on the Board of Directors of the Northern California Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, chairing many committees, including NCCMPI President. She was honored with the NCCMPI Supplier of the Year award, inducted in to the NCCMPI Hall of Fame and is a current member of Professional Convention Managers Association (PCMA).
Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Business School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
